    DTF or Direct To Film Transfers are a great apparel decoration option that can be applied to most fabric types. These transfers can be fine detailed, full multi-color or single color designs and be printed in any size you may need to fit your project. They are heat applied with a heat press with the directions below. Hand head irons can be used but not recommended. When using a hand iron to achieve the best results, ensure you are applying the heat evenly across the entire design with constant pressure. If the transfer isn't sticking to the apparel, lay the design flat on the apparel and press again. *DIFFERENT FABRIC TYPES WILL REQUIRE DIFFERENT HEAT TEMPERATURES. PLEASE CHECK THE GARMENT LABEL FOR CARE INSTRUCTIONS.  

    Pressing Instructions: 

    • Time: 10 seconds / 5 seconds 

    • Temperature: 300 degrees Fahrenheit (*Temps will vary depending on fabric type)

    • Pressure: 7 / Firm Pressure

    1. The design will be printed as a mirror image with white ink on the surface.

    2. Place garment on heat press and direct to film transfer onto garment with image (right reading) facing up - white side touching the garment.

    3. Press with firm pressure at 300°F for 10 seconds.

    4. For Hot Peel, Start from a corner with the most ink coverage and remove in one, rapid motion (like removing a bandage). 

    5. Place garment on heat press, cover with standard pressing paper or Teflon finishing sheet and press for 5 seconds.
